Har Nof is still a great neighborhood in Jerusalem

We had the merit to live in Har Nof for 13 years between 1985 and 1998. When we arrived they were still building the neighborhood. There were two buses a day and a friendly guy came around every morning to sell milk, bread and yogourt off the back of his truck.

As the years went by and our family began to grow, so did the neighborhood. Schools were built, minyanim that started in bomb shelters moved to beautiful permanent shuls, makolets and pizza shops popped up everywhere and even parks and playgrounds were built.

Last December we dropped by for a visit and enjoyed the sites and sounds. The trees were bigger and blossoms were everywhere, and the neighborhood was still full of children. Here are some pics I took that day…
